Join ThornwoodMx on August 1st for our next Outlaw MX race!
We have two special events planned; first we will be setting a World Record for having the most +50 riders; we were turned down by Guinness stating "We are sorry that a record of this kind which is qualified by age cannot be accomodated in a reference work as general as Guinness World Records. We try to include as wide a variety of activities as possible, and therefore we must concentrate on absolute records, rather than those that are qualified in some way.", so we decided to make our own world record! So tell all your friends that are over the age of 50 to come on out and have some fun. As a bonus any person with a valid AARP membership will get $5 off each of their race entries for that day! Thats a 20% savings!!
Remember, you don't stop riding cause you get old, you get old cause you stop riding!
Our second event for the weekend will be a Vintage class added for the day! It will be a 2 moto format with trophies. To qualify for this race your bike must be 1990 or older and a minimum of 100cc. We hope to see a good turnout for this as we may be planning a Vintage race here at Thornwood next year if we get enough interest!
